The USCIS will publish a new version of Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, effective as of December 23, 2022, incorporating the new public charge rule.
The USCIS has announced that if you file Form I-485 on or after December 23, 2022, you must use the new edition of Form I-485 or the filing will be rejected.
